Harrison, Max and I were lucky to be raised in Iowa where we could hunt deer, coyote, pheasant and turkey within a mile of our house. Today we have hunted across Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, Montana and New Zealand. While our neighbors and relatives mentored us when we were young, not everyone has those resources. We hope to reach hunters and give them more knowledge, confidence, and fortitude in the field.
Good luck,
Stu
What We Do
The North American Slam and the Super Slam represent the big game hunter’s holy grail. For most hunters the price will deter them from pursuing these dreams. We developed Iowa Slam as a benchmark for the complete hunter on a budget. In 2016 we started with articles specific to Iowa but now do most of our hunting in other regions. As a result, we have created a Montana Slam and New Zealand Slam as well.
We want to hunt successfully during every season. In order to do that we hunt as efficiently and effectively as possible. We write blogs telling our stories and explaining the strategies we use.
